Mission Statement: Garin Lavi, Columbia/Barnard Hillel's Student Center for Israel and Zionist Thought, exists as a forum for intelligent, meaningful, and in-depth conversation about significant ideas surrounding Zionist thought and the State of Israel. It aims to cultivate and situate students within the greater Zionist and Israeli intellectual tradition in an attempt to foster forward-minded conversations about the most intellectually pressing issues surrounding Israel’s past, present, and future.
