New Yachad City

New Yachad City is a ~monthly Kabbalat Shabbat service and growing group of students who love to explore Judaism through music, prayer, song, food, and cultural communities. We are egalitarian and inclusive of all.

Together (Yachad in Hebrew) we explore the diversity of Judaism in New York City for ‘new’ approaches to Shabbat services. New Yachad City. Through our alternative Kabbalat Shabbat service (which teaches the tunes, traditions, and customs from other communities), excursions to culturally and religiously diverse synagogues, and Jewish events around NY, we hope to learn about and unite the varieties of Judaism represented here in New York.

Join the New Yachad City community to:

¨Visit culturally, ethnically, and religiously diverse synagogues around NYC for Kabbalat Shabbat services and a chance to meet personally with the rabbi(s) of the community

¨Lead and participate in a multi-cultural, multi-traditional Kabbalat Shabbat services
